Firefly were approached to re-evaluate the light source and maintenance aspects of this product. The original design for this product required the owner having to uninstall the chandelier in order to change the lamp. Firefly updated the design to utilise a brighter yet lower wattage lamp with a cooler colour temperature to match the crystals. The new design also included a revised mechanism to allow lamp replacement without the need to take the chandelier down. The luminaire was also designed to attain UL and CE certification.
