Taking a different design and a different location (this time The Old Truman Brewery in London’s Brick Lane) this incarnation of the awards was the most animated yet. Each element was revealed in turn, accompanied by a fanfare of light and the best in British music. First the bar was revealed, then the food servery, and finally the stage, so that the awards could commence.
The stage (a large Union Flag when seen from overhead) had its own internal lighting, as did drinking tables and other display areas. The spotlights overhead gave a sense of theatre that really brought an eye-catching feel to this event.
